Gauhati University has released a notification for the recruitment  of 57 Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor (Permanent) vacancies under various departments of Gauhati University. 

1. Professor
No of posts: 9 [UR: 4, OBC: 5]

Educational Qualification: As per UGC Norms

2. Associate Professor
No of posts: 18

Educational Qualification: As per UGC Norms

3. Assistant Professor
No of posts: 30 [UR: 13, OBC: 7, SC: 5, STP: 1, STH: 1, EWS: 3]

Educational Qualification: As per UGC Norms

Pay Scale (as per latest UGC revision):
Professor: Rs. 1,44,200/- to 2,18,200/-
Associate Professor: Rs 1,31,400/- to 2,17,100/-
Assistant Professor: Rs. 57,700/- to 1,82,400/-

Application Fee: Candidates will be required to pay an amount of Rs. 1000/- (in case of SC, ST Rs. 500/-) demand Draft in favour of Registrar, Gauhati University payable at SBI Branch, G.U. as an application fee.

Completed application in prescribed form along with necessary enclosures must reach “The Registrar, Gauhati University, Guwahati-781014".

Last date of receipt of filled-in application is 27th June, 2020.
